You all know l'm a Thai food lover, so l had to check out Seak Southeast Asian Kitchen and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The flavors were bold, fresh, and absolutely unforgettable. Both the food and the service were a 10/10 across the board. My favorite dish? The Thai Curry Mussels.... THAT sauce was pure magic! * I'll definitely be back soon because this spot deserves all the love and attention. #fashionandfood #edgewater #southeastasianfood #OOTD #lunch

Stopped by for dinner and the food did not disappoint—everything was super tasty. It’s BYOB, which is a nice bonus albeit we wish we had known! Heads up: there’s a bar up front, but it’s just for their specialty non-alcoholic drinks (limited menu), not a full bar—kinda threw us off at first. Our waitress was awesome—super patient and helpful. We sat outside with a view of NYC, which totally set the vibe. Definitely planning to come back during the day—it seems like it’d be a whole different (but equally cool) experience.
The place has ample seating. We had no wait time , we were seated right away. They have a view of the river and Skycraper of New York City. The staff are friendly and effecient. I thought the cafe would have been sweet because of condense milk. Not sweet at all. The massaman curry was a bit on the watery side and not that flavorfull.Otherwise the rest of the dishes were good.
Wow this place is now one of my favorites! We went as a family to celebrate an important occasion and they made sure it was perfect. The service is so amazing, everyone so polite and friendly! And the food top! Perfect portion size and flavor. Highly recommend. Note how important is a good service, that can really make a difference. Thank you !
It's 2025, and Asian-fusion fare is the name of the game. Their dishes often incorporate ingredients from multiple culinary traditions, offering diverse flavors, modern twists on traditional dishes, and visually stunning presentations that appeal to adventurous patrons. Opened since 2017, we have made a return for lunch after 3 years. Located off of River Road along the picturesque waterfront in Edgewater, SEAK (Southeast Asian Kitchen) is a Vietnamese and Thai fusion restaurant. Upon entering, my partner and I were greeted by the staff and got a table inside a trendy Brooklyn industrial vibe, with the restaurant’s modern, eclectic decor and a fabulous view of Upper Manhattan. Outdoor seating is also available during warmer weather. Their Viet-Thai menu features the classic pho, chili-salted chicken wings, pad thai, and banh mi frites. We decided on the Singapore Curry Noodles with Chicken and Pad See Ew with Tofu. The food came out quickly. The portions looked deceptively small, but it was authentic, tastefully delicious, and filling. The service was consistent and attentive. The price was comparable to the area. This isn’t the kind of place that gets a lot of foot traffic. They are banking on impressing you to the point where you want to come back, which we can continue to recommend.
One of the best Thai food restaurants we have been to. Service is excellent. Food is to die for. Their sandwiches on the Menu are amazing and so are their lunch portions
Just ate here for the first time and have to say I am really impressed. Appetizer: Banh Mi Fries These were so crispy and so tasty and the sriracha mayo it came with was great. Entrees: Chicken Kao Pad & Tofu Pad Kee Mao This rice was absolutely perfect. Great amount of spice, Great amount of flavor. I ordered it with extra scallions and it was so good. The tofu was really tasty and i loved the bean sprouts and the drunken noodles. Dessert: Xango Fried Cheesecake So Good. I was so full at the end of the meal and contemplated ordering another. Cheesecake tasted not too sweet and the ice cream was a really good compliment. Will for sure be coming back and telling family and friends about this place. Thank you Seak!!
Lunch special chicken pad thai good. Bit too vinegar for my taste. Starter tom yam Kung soup good. Vermicelli bowl good. Pho as well. Outdoor area good with Manhattan view but can be windy.
